JOINING YEARBOOK CLUB CAN BE FUN AND REWARDING!

There are a million reasons to join yearbook club, but we thought it might be helpful to highlight the top 10 so you can spend less time reading about it, and more time being a part of it!

​     #10: When the book comes out, you get to see it before anyone else

     #9:  Be a part of making all of the decisions on the yearbook

     #8: Learn about student journalism and all aspects of the creation process

     #7: Attend deadline parties!
     #6: Eligible for scholarships and prizes through JEA/NSPA/KEMPA

     #5: Learn real life job skills as you participate in a small business

     #4: Potential to add to your resume

     #3: Attend life changing conferences throughout the country

     #2: Many opportunities to learn and practice leadership skills

     #1: Be a part of a fun and engaging community of students 

So if you think that yearbook club is for you, join us Thursdays from 4-5 in room 2913. Hope to see you there!

Meeting schedule:
We meet as a club every Thursday in room 2913.
     * A day Thursdays are 4:00-5:00 pm (after school only)
     * B day Thursdays are 2:15-5:00 pm (ASR 1&2, and after school)Club           * Meetings will start on August 19th from 2:15-5:00 in room 2913


 
Events:
Sept. 10th ASR 1&2: Come visit us at the SO fair! Whether you want to learn more or get yourself a feature in the book, we are there for it all!

Oct. 3rd ASR 1&2, and after school: Free senior portrait studio. If you need a senior portrait taken, follow this link and sign up for them for free! Sign ups must be received by Sept 26th. 

Oct. 17th all day:
Yearbook club members join us for the KEMPA conference! This all day journalism conference will be held at UW Whitewater campus and feature a host action packed sessions to choose from. 

Dec. 9th all day: Student Activities picture day. Students should come to school ready to be photographed with their picture schedule written down.
